Hello Chezzden and Ron,
That's good advice, Ron. My naturopath recommended witch-hazel when I had an hemorrhoid. When my hemorrhoid first appeared, before I got my Peristal, I would massage it for a few minutes several times a day with some DMSO gel to help dissolve the clot. Then a few days later I received my Peristal and I saw a great improvement in my hemorrhoid over the next couple of weeks. After several weeks of daily use of the Peristal, evenings and mornings, my hemorrhoid disappeared completely.
If you just insert the Peridise without doing any contractions, it's presence is hardly noticeable. My hemorrhoid was sore in the beginning, so I started with the smallest Peristal. I relaxed lying on my back and started some slow contractions to cause the Peristal to slide gently back and forth. At first I hardly felt it, but after a while it began to feel quite pleasurable deep inside, and then after a little while longer it became extremely pleasurable. This is a very good thing because the treatment became so intensely pleasurable that I had no problem at all in having my treatments regularly
By the way, I found that the best lube is pure coconut oil. My rule is that if a lube is not edible then it is not suitable for use in the other end. After my evening treatments I leave the Peristal in to sleep and then I'm ready for my treatment first thing in the morning. I continue with almost daily treatments because, apart from avoiding ever getting another hemorrhoid, the stimulation is absolutely wonderful.
I hope you guys are doing well and also enjoying your treatments. My ND thinks the Peristal is a great idea, especially since "it doesn't hurt!" This treatment really is a wonderful treat.
Best wishes,
Grandtiger
