Post-Pro-state Prostate Drainage

Postby bevlar on Wed Oct 01, 2008 12:33 am

Have any of you experienced the following? After using the Pro-State device, and after "cleaning up"--I get prostate fluid drainage for about 20-30 minutes after the procedure. I first noticed this when finding a "glob" of congealed fluid under my foreskin.
Further, even into the next DAY--as in 24 hours later--when going to "tinkle Nr.1"--I noticed a sticky substance on my penis. Thinking it was just sweat (I'm overweight!)--I at first brushed it off--until I noticed that it was "sticky fluid"--as in prostate fluid! This has happened several times after using the device. I'm not worried or concerned--just curious, that prostate fluids could be draining this long--20 minutes to 24 hours AFTER using the device. Comments!??!

Before making any comments about your situation i'd like to ask how exactly you have been using the device?

Have you been using very hard muscle contractions? How exactly do you use the device (ie do you have sex with it in,

use hands to push it furthur in there etc.)

which model do you own? Do you get prostate fluid draning while using the

device or only afterwards?

Hi. Using the PS2 model. I insert the device...laying down on my back (bed)...once inserted, keep my legs together (tightly) to make sure device doesn't pop out--use anal muscles as hard as I can, but without pain. Also incorporate up/down "pumps"--as in emulating "in-out" sex. I occasionally use my hand on the "exit ring" to slowly slide the device in/out. Duration about 20-30 minutes. Prostate fluid comes out from penis in a slow ooze. I do NOT use the device while having normal sex. As previously mentioned, fluid continues to slowly ooze-drops, during cleanup, and even into the next day.

Example: The "oozing" is barely noticeable, except when urinating. Then my penis is wet with sticky fluid, as in a "jelly-like" stickiness. There's no "dripping" or any other problems, as in no problems with "wet shorts" etc. The "oozing" slowly stops within 12-24 hours. To reiterate, I'm not really "forcing" the device--or doing any violent thrusts, or any other actions, and there is no pain during or after. Just a strange occurrence.

As the practice of prostate massage has not been practiced by many until recently it is hard to say

why exactly you are experiencing this

However From reading a lot about prostate massage and talking to a lot people who are into it over the years,

It seems that a minority of people can actually develop premature ejaculation or semen/prostate fluid leakage from it (in

severe cases)

this is especially true when they apply VERY HARD pressure to the prostate either internally or even externally through

massage

In your case it does not sound like much of a problem because your leaking stops after 24 hours

However some have reported leakage all the time

In your case I would simply reduce your contraction strength by a lot, remember you do not necessarily need to release

fluid to get benefits from prostate massage, besides if you open the acini by massage the contents can be released in

the next ejaculation or even in the urine

are you experiencing premature ejac problems?

thanks

Hi, again. Thanks for your interest and info about my strange "oozing." No, I don't have a problem with premature ejac.
Like many other things in life, I'll simply keep experimenting to see what works...doesn't. Take care.

I think that you are using it wrong. Try using a lot of lube, and just insert it, then kneel on the floor, next to your bed, with your arms and head resting on the bed. Don't try to move it in and out. Just let your body relax. After about ten or fifteen minutes, you may feel it wiggling about very slightly on its own. That is all you have to do. You don't have to tighten your anus and ram it against your prostate. Be as gentle as possible. Try pushing it out slightly using your rectal muscles, then relax very slightly while at the same time, lightly try to clamp down on your bladder sphincter, as if you were trying to avoid peeing. But gently, as if you were closing your hand around a flower petal, not trying to crush a beercan. I can't empasize enough how this thing will start moving by itself if you just relax and breathe deeply.

Good advice.....

You want to relax and go very gently.

Let your body do the "very slight and gentle" movement for you.....very gently and breath to relax.

Take a little bit easier for a week. Sounds to me yer being too aggressive. Experiment with some basics only and see if it continues.

Hello,

From your post it is assumed that you are not experiencing any pain. The Pro-state when used properly should not be painful.

So, what could cause prostatic fluid to drain after the massage? Answer... a congested prostate could cause the leakage you described. It is an unfortunate reality that many men are not able to ejaculate frequently enough to avoid prostate congestion and the resultant problems. Even married men experience this problem. This is one of the factors that has caused an increase in prostate problems and erectile dysfunction among men today.

The discharge you note after the massage is prostatic fluid. The prostate gland manufactures this major component of your semen in response to the stimulation. When a man becomes sexually aroused (foreplay, dreams, fantasies, etc.) and does not ejaculate, this fluid accumulates in the prostate gland. In such an instance, the Pro-state pushes on the congested prostate causing a discharge of its fluid from the urethra. Likewise, as one urinates, the bladder contracts to expel urine. As the bladder squeezes out the last few drops, it also compresses the prostate. If the latter is congested, prostatic fluid will appear at the end of urination. It may also be noted just with foreplay.

The presence of this type of discharge is not in itself harmful. However, chronic congestion of the prostate may predispose to inflammation of the prostate gland, so called prostatitis. Periodic ejaculation in moderation will help to prevent this phenomenon from happening. If your problem continues, you should see a urologist for consultation.
