Prostate massage

Discuss HIH's Pro-State prostate massagers and the health benefits of prostate massage.

I am a massage therapist who suffered from an enlarged prostate. I read several articles about the benefits of prostate massage. I scheduled an appointment with another therapist and after a few weeks of receiving P.M. my prostate returned to a normal size.
I now use his P.M. techiques in working with several of my clients. I am located in the heart of the Texas Panhandle and am amazed at the number of open minded cowboys that seek my services. Do you suppose it has to do with the movie, Broke Back Mountain?

I have been to Amarillo, you are right, there are lots of cowboys. I don't think that movie has much to do with it. I bet cowboys like massage just like the rest of us. Can I email you and set up an appointment? I will be coming through there in about a week.

I am guessing that your massage therapist used digital massage on your prostate. How did it compare to the pro-state. I also want to know how long his massage lasted and if the prostate part was painful.

That is an excellent question:

Do massage therapists use only their finger(s) to perform a prostate massage?

How long do they spend massaging? Is it part of an 'ordinary' massage, or is prostate massage the sole purpose?

Does the massage ordinarily result in a full prostate release, or is the main purpose simply to drain fluid from the prostate to 'keep things moving'?

How does one locate a massage therapist who practices prostate massage?

I have ordered the beginners pack and hope to recieve it by the end of the week. Since there are two sizes of pro-states in the package, this will allow me to see which one works best for my needs. I am already sold on the benefits of prostate massage and hope the pro-state takes me to the next level.
When I first started receiving prostate massage from my massage therapist, I found it difficult to relax and let it happen. It involved lots of emotion and I wasn't for sure I wanted to share these uncontrolable emotions with my therapist.
He was very professional and put me at ease by talking me through the first treatment. Form then on, it has been a breeze. I will tell you that I have formed a bond of trust with my therapist that I have never shared with another male.
My treatments were never painful, in fact I almost feel guilty because of the pleasure I am receiving. He gives me a total body massage and the prostate massage is part of it. That part lasts between ten and fifteen minutes.
I will let you know how the pro-states work for me.

Hi New England,
My therapist uses one to two fingers and massages the prostate and the surrounding areas around the prostate. This gives much needed oxygen to the area and benefits the health of my prostate.

I get a full body massage that lasts an hour. The prostate massage lasts anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes and is part of my hour massage.

I do get a full prostate release. My therapist is very professional and it is not the least bit embarassing.

As to locating a therapist that does prostate massage, I would select a name from the yellow pages and once I got to his office and on the massage table, I would discuss his views on prostate massage.

Most therapist will not discuss such matters over the phone, because it sounds like you are requesting a sexual massage.

As long as you show respect to your therapist, he will do the same for you.

Thank you. From your response, am I to assume it will be a male giving me a prostate massage? Do female Massage Therapists receive proposals to do the same thing, or does it then cross over to the questionable area, and hence I should stick to males? I have never been massaged by a male.

Hi New England,

I am sure there are female massage therapists that do prostate massage. I personally feel more comfortable using a male therapist.

Keep in mind, it is a theraputic procedure, but when receiving PM it is difficult to control or hide your emotions.

New England,

I like male massage therapists better, mainly because I am a married man. My wife wouldn't like for me to go to a female therapist for a massage, much less for a prostate massage.
Once you get a prostate massage, you will understand why it's better to go to a man. I almost tear my therapist's massage table apart and put it back together again, while he is giving it to me.
My advice is find a good male therapist and go for the full release.
It will shake your world!
